Integral Tourism App
Yupiii is an all-in-one tourism platform for Uruguay. I led the entire design process from brand identity creation to high-fidelity mobile prototypes.
How I approached it
Interviewed 12 tourists and 5 local guides to map pain points in the current fragmented information landscape.
Synthesized insights into 3 user personas and 2 critical user journeys: the explorer and the planner.
Created lo-fi hand-drawn sketches and paper prototypes to rapidly validate the core information architecture.
Built a full design system in Figma with the Yupiii brand — components, tokens, and responsive patterns.
Conducted usability testing with 8 participants, iterating on navigation and booking confirmation flows.
Tourists in Uruguay struggled to find updated, integrated information about local experiences, leading to fragmented planning.
Developed a comprehensive design system and an intuitive mobile interface that aggregates bookings, local guides, and real-time updates.
